WORKSHOP: World of Wild Edible Walk

Youth 12 and up and their parents are invited to join 4-H Educator and naturalist Lisa Morganstern-Perl for a Wild Edibles Walk. We will learn the parts of plants, how to correctly identify and harvest plants around us that are safe and nutritious to eat. After visiting a few spots we will gather back at the New Paltz Community Center to share our Wild Edible Harvest with some recipes.

Lisa Morganstern-Perl, 4-H Educator, Naturalist, Masters in Elementary Education and Environmental Studies, Earth Science Teacher Certification.

Admission: $10.00, non refundable.

Capacity: 12 youth and families

Accessibility: Handicapped parking is available in front of entrance. Ramp leading to entrance. Main hall is on the ground floor. Bathrooms are handicapped accessible. Entrance doors are not automatic. Please call 845-255-2512 if assistance is needed.

Parking: Available in front of the Community Center.
