WORKSHOP: Wild Edibles Walk

Youth 12 and up and their parents are invited to join 4-H Educator and naturalist Lisa Morganstern-Perl for a Wild Edibles Walk. We will learn the parts of plants, how to correctly identify and harvest plants around us that are safe and nutritious to eat. After visiting a few spots we will gather back at the New Paltz Community Center to share our Wild Edible Harvest with some recipes.

Lisa Morganstern-Perl, 4H Educator, Naturalist, Masters in Elementary Education and Environmental Studies, Earth Science Teacher Certification.

Admissions Cost: $10.00

Capacity: 12 youth and families

Accessibility: The New Paltz Community Center is wheelchair accessible.
