CLASS: ReBop Lindy Hop Fundamentals-closed to open and new ways to connect

  • New Paltz Community Center 3 Veterans Drive New Paltz, NY, 12561 United States (map)

Join us for partnered classes but a partner is not required to attend!

~All Levels~

Be ready to rotate throughout the class and dance with everyone! Please wear clean clothes and shoes comfortable for dancing. Classes are connection based. We will be learning "moves"  but the emphasis will be placed on how to lead, follow, and build a relationship with our dance partners, ourselves, and the music.

This month is host to World Lindy Hop Day and the birthday of the most well known gregarious gemini, Frankie Manning. We will have a live band on May 23rd at the Community Center to celebrate - the wonderful Saints of Swing! Tank will be teaching a little Frankie Manning solo jazz sequence to start off the evening.

Learn more about the live event here: https://www.revolutionary-newpaltz.org/calendar/event-lindy-hopSaints of Swing will play May 23rd at the Community Center, 8pm!
